The tournaments winner will win the new Continental Championship, along with the ROH World Championship and the NJPW Strong Championship. (If Eddie does not make it to the finals, he will by default be losing both titles).
The matches will:
- Have a 20 minute time limit
- Give 3 points for a win
- Give 1 point for a draw
- No interference will be allowed.
Winners of the group finals will face each other at World’s End on December 30th.

So… does that belt go away when this is over like the Owen Hart belts? Or will this be a regular belt to go with the other three dozen? If it’s going to be a regular title, no thanks. I think the next tournament is whoever wins has to retire their title.
Oh, and nobody asked or cares but I dislike the Continental Title name, I get WWE has the USA and North American Titles, but Continental just doesn’t flow for me and makes me think of John Wick.
Also, the whole Eddie will lose all his belts thing is stupid, it takes away quite a bit of the tournament because you know he’s winning the majority of his matches if not all of them.
