By “jazz” you mean being good pals with right wing billionaires that like to hand out millions in “favors” to their pals, right?
There are no wrong notes in jazz…
Nah by jazz a politician means they’re using a buzzword they know people will respond to, and the politician truly just means they’re just going to do whatever sounds good they don’t plan too much ahead.
Biden is the best the system can do. Because it’s a shitty system. In a just world we’d have had President Nader, then President Sanders, and then President West.
But we exist in post-modern technocratic capitalist society governed by a system that’s older than the telegraph and was the best thing we could think of to replace the Divine Right of Kings and hasn’t been dramatically updated since we gave women the vote and decided to not be overtly hostile to minorities.
It’s a shitty, broken, fucked up system that won’t give you what you want, but you can at least steer it towards a smaller cluster of orphans by voting for Biden.
And then learn to grow food and can because it’s a long, long way down.
This hits me close as someone who has voted for green party in the past and gotten extremely castigated for it. You’re not wrong, but I still don’t like it.
Here’s to plants 🌿
Centrists have always told me to be more realistic, so I’m being realistic.
learn to grow food and can
What crops would you recommend? 🙈
Pumpkins and potatoes to start with. They’re prolific and store well without refrigeration while providing a lot of essential nutrients.
Past that, tomatoes for flavor and vitamin c as they’re acidic and can well.
what about beans or grains?

The guy the article is about.
some dudes will do anything to avoid paying child support
Yes, we understand you want Trump to be elected. We figured that out when you posted the first Cornel West post.
I don’t even like cornel west and it’s been said a million times but opposing Biden ≠ supporting trump. The electoral college decides who becomes president, your vote doesn’t matter just the statistics do. I can’t in good conscience support either of them because they really are more or less the same. Both support Palestinian genocide, both had a racist border wall being built during their term, both are ostensibly pandemic deniers and pedophiles. Fuck defending anyone interested in politics tbh, but Joe Biden? Joe Biden is like Elon musk - people will leap to his aid for whatever goddamn reason like he’s the Messiah idk why you’d waste your time for him

I don’t think you know how our elections work. FPTP system, no guaranteed airtime or debate time for eligible candidates, and no spending limits say your statement is wrong.
yeah who needs obergefell and griswold
Who needs to defend a narcoleptic oligarch racist who insists he’s a leftist and a capitalist at the same time? You’re defending one of the most powerful people in the world. Hope you’re getting paid lol
you can’t think Cornel West wants to overturn those

Sure, there’s a list of things he has done, technically to his credit he isn’t sleeping ALL day, but biden still isn’t trying hard enough in my book. Like, none of that means shit really. I look at that and don’t see the bare minimum a democratic president should be doing, and the bar I set is fucking low I assure you.
if they wanted donald trump to be elected, wouldn’t they be pushing trump propaganda? seems to me they want cornel west to be elected.

As a jazzman,
This is the best summary I could come up with:
Soon, Mr. West said, union officials urged him to delay his Michigan trip and in the meantime join workers picketing a local auto parts distribution center in Tappan, N.Y., instead.
He visited the Clinton White House, shared a stage with Jay-Z and became a fixture of talk shows like “Real Time With Bill Maher.” Former President Barack Obama once called him an “oracle.” He played a small part in two “Matrix” sequels.
Mr. West left Harvard for Princeton in 2002 after clashing with its president then, Lawrence H. Summers, who reportedly urged him to produce more scholarly work after he recorded a spoken word album.
But he was soon recruited to run for the Green Party nomination by Chris Hedges, a former New York Times foreign correspondent and activist who until last year hosted a program on the Russian government-controlled network RT America.
“I have a great personal affinity for Dr. West,” said Jeff Weaver, who ran a Democratic super PAC in 2020 after serving for years as a political strategist for Bernie Sanders, the independent senator from Vermont.
Mr. Hawkins pointed to Mr. West’s recent appearance at an event in Washington opposing military aid to Ukraine, alongside former hosts from RT America and Radio Sputnik, another Kremlin-backed English-language media outlet.
