    there’s two common meanings for respect, with very different meanings.

    1. treat someone like an authority

    2. treat someone like a person

    1. is earned, 2. is a basic right.

          I’m not sure what the original said, to be honest. If you find it, I’d love to have it. If it is marginalized people, that would be better definitely. I think there was a whole discourse around these memes on og 196, but I only caught the back end of it.
