I would imagine Rishi and Elon are quite closely aligned when it comes to workers rights, so do not expect any worker or privacy protections coming out of this AI summit, just the opposite. I would however expect some sort of protection for the likes of Twitter from being used for unpaid language model training.

I should think Elon would be the best person to talk on artificial intelligence. Turning $44bln into $19bln in a year under the guise of improving a platform definitely takes some form of artificial intelligence…

Again, the adage about the broken clock is demonstrated as valid.

Yeah, think they interpreted it as sunak warned others, rather than sunak was warned.

I had to open the comments to find out which one is it. Poorly written title really.

Grammatically speaking, doesn’t it really say that Sunak warned others? I am confused.

Yes. Without something like ‘was’ in there, Sunak becomes the actor of the warning.

OP is correct in their interpretation of the title as far as language goes.

General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don’t post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think “reputable news source” needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
