An Israeli strike targeting a Hamas commander in the densely populated Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza has left catastrophic damage and killed a large number of people, according to eyewitnesses and medics in the enclave.

Israel is a terrorist state, and they’re so blood thirsty for Hamas commanders that they’re bombing fucking refuge camps.

And they wonder what drives support for Hamas? Jk, no they don’t. Israel knowsthey support Hamas because of Israel’s actions, and Israel leans into it to give them excuses to marginalize and remove Palestinians from their land one way or another.

I don’t support Hamas, but supporting Israel is unconcionable, and has been for years. But with so many things these days, the authorizations are going full mask off…

Absolutely. Punishing the civilians they’re hiding amongst us a literal war crime (collective punishment), and I refuse to support a state that’s trying to ethnicly cleanse a neighboring state so they can steal land.

Also, a commander being there is a fucking weak excuse to bomb a fucking refugee camp. No matter what you think of the war, it should be unconscionable to target a camp of people who’s lives you’ve already destroyed, but considering the end goal of Israel, I’m not surprised they’d stoop that low.

An Israeli strike targeting a Hamas commander in the densely populated Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza has left catastrophic damage and killed a large number of people, according to eyewitnesses and medics in the enclave.

“I was waiting in line to buy bread when suddenly and without any prior warning seven to eight missiles fell,” an eyewitness, Mohammad Ibrahim, told CNN.

Hazem Qassem, a spokesman for the militant group, accused Israel of attempting to justify what he described as a “heinous crime against safe civilians, children, and women in Jabalya camp.”

Eyewitness Mohammad Al Aswad described a “horrific scene” in the aftermath of the strike, telling CNN that he ran to the refugee camp to check on family after hearing the missiles land.

Israel’s bombardment of Gaza has killed at least 8,485 people and injured more than 21,000, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah, which draws on information from the Hamas-controlled enclave.

When pressed multiple times throughout a White House briefing on the Jabalya strike and on whether Israel is doing enough to protect Palestinian civilians, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said the US has “indications they are trying.”
