Apple unveils new MacBook Pro featuring M3 chips::Apple today announced a new MacBook Pro lineup featuring the all-new family of M3 chips: M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max.
$2600 pre order for M3 Pro 12 CPU 16 GPU 38GB unified RAM…which is what I would call the bare minimum for any professional AI or seriously professional editing.

Does unified ram mean system ram and vram are shared?
Yep
It all sounds great until you realize many softwares don’t run on ARM processors.
Also, even more don’t run on Mac’s… So it’s kind of layers of disappointnent you’ve got to deal with here.
