“If Congress will work with me on doing that, we’ll be able to reduce the size and scope of government,” he added. “If Congress won’t go that far, I’m going to use those agencies to push back against woke ideology and against the leftism that we see creeping into all institutions of American life.”

    But why? What’s wrong with the department of energy? We’d no longer be able to subsidize energy creation, we’d literally be paying 20x more for power for no reason. And these power agencies would have no reason to operate power grids or maintain them. The bill would default back to the US, because no one could afford electricity anymore.

    And what’s with the threat? How does someone weaponize the IRS against wokeness? How?! Is an IRS agent going to throw an excel spreadsheet at me if I wear a rainbow? What a moron thing to say.
