This is kind of the fundamental thought behind ecological economics if youre interested. Basically shifting our economic perspective to reflect the reality that our entire social and economic wellbeing is wholly dependent on the environment and its ecology.
I definitely think the social and economic aspects pf permaculture need more emphasis.
