If we consider original species like Sergals, Protogens, Avali, and Dutch Angel Dragons to count as furry, then logically Wookiees, Bothans, Kzinti, Pokemon, and all other animal-adjacent aliens have to count too. Furry is either restricted just to real world animals, or it includes fictional species as well, whether that’s mythological creatures, fandom species, or community-created species.
