I don’t think I quite understand. Being a Marxists does not mean you betray the country you live in. Does it? Because you’d want what’s best for the workers of the entire world. Especially for the country you live in.
In burgerland, helping the working class is betraying the country.
Country does not equal the workers/the people living there, instead the country is the institutions which hold power. In the west these institutions are capitalist, so in that sense yes we are traitors as our loyalty is not to the powers that be, but to the people.
