[description: cropped part from the thumbnail from tom scott’s latest video…

it’s white text on a red background that reads “please stop emailing me about this” with an arrow pointing towards the bottom right.

the background is transparent as it’s intended to be overlaid on top of other stuff]

I use Snapchat to crop items out and then paste it onto a clear background.

I make dumb shit like Osama Bin-[Me]…

…and there was that one time my girlfriend was arguing that I couldn’t take the air fryer with us on holiday and I was trying to tell her “yes we can, you can take the air fryer anywhere!” before pasting it into random images of it in various places, including in place of the Premier League trophy:

It is the only reason I have Snapchat installed.

I do use Krita sometimes. It starts faster and shows a better splash screen when it does (Kiki FTW). It is great when you have a pen-enabled touchscreen/graphics tablet, and even for some mouse users (switching pen/eraser using keyboard “shortcuts” as opposed to the right mouse button drives me crazy in GIMP). But I am not much of an artist and I prefer GIMP for photo editing. Only my sister has a pen-enabled PC.

I will switch completely if Krita lets me do this.

And I’m in fact planning to improve the Czech translation of Krita for my sister, I just haven’t had the time.
