I love MLS season pass as a season ticket holder. You get I’m a fan willing to pay to watch my team. I love watching other teams play. I got into MLS watching other teams and the league and the sport.
However with this new league wide requirement of 730 local Saturday kickoffs I rarely get to actually watch any other team than my own.
On home game days I may get home to watch the second half of left coast games.
MLS needs to spread out games. 2, 3, 4 games a week and spread the times out so I can actually watch other teams.

My guess is that revenue from ticket sales dwarf revenue from broadcast deals. And non evening games are probably less lucrative (ie, sell less beer) than non evening games.
