Opposition to LTNs, 20mph zones and 15-minute cities is strongest from conspiracy theory believers so why has the U.K. government aligned itself with them, trashing prior promises?
When I look at the people who think LTNs and 15-minute cities are an evil scheme to deny people their freedom… I think that the fear is real, but is mis-attributed to the schemes that would make their lives better, rather than placed on the shoulders of the increasingly fascist Tory government where it should be. Real fear, but afraid of the wrong thing. So of course the Tories benefit from making sure nobody realises who their real enemy is.
