Why YSK: An airbag typically deploys at 100-200 MPH and if your phone is sitting there it will be launched towards you and probably impale you. Don’t put your phone on your steering wheel over your airbag. Don’t put any alternate logos or bedazzling on your airbag. Basically don’t do anything to or put anything on your airbag because anything you put on it will launch on impact.

Shameless crosspost from my reddit as I move over.

Also, passengers, don’t put your feet on the dash unless you want your knees to go through your face in an accident.

Yea this too. If you are ever debating doing this search you up some aftermath pictures. People’s femurs break and their feet are up by their face. Just don’t do it.

Every time my sister does this when she rides with me and I tell her every single time to not do it. All it takes is one asshole not paying attention to rear end me and all of a sudden she’s likely permanently crippled.

I’m a big fan of people setting up their cactus/crystal collection on their dashboards.

It really establishes that /grenade/ aesthetic.

Had two friends crash due to a pair of sunglasses being put on the passenger side dashboard. In a roundabout they fell, the driver lost focus looking at them, got a bit into the other lane and had a truck run them over.

I don’t put stuff there anymore!
