    I mean the real answer is all of congress failed to perform one of their primary functions, and instead of working until they have an agreement, they’re just trying to pin the mess on the other party, while federal workers suffer.

    Like why even do this? Is anyone going to get this reply and be like "I voted Democrat for years, but now that I know the reason I can’t get a response about the entrance exams (I have no idea what someone would email the doe about) I realize its all my fault and I should vote Republican?

      Yes, some people might. Also, the Republican Noise Machine will pick this kind of thing up and amplify it and it will reinforce the cultist mindset.

      Cause last time Trump was in office the Rs were blamed for the shutdown, and they want to be again. And their base is dumb enough to believe everything they read or are told to believe.

    The people to whom this happened should make sure to follow up with every single person they sent an automatic reply to and inform them that the message was changed without their consent.
