The article doesnt mention anything about islam, muslims, etc. and there was only like 4 comments, none mentioning islam or muslims. So the mods here assumed the attacks were done by muslims and decided to remove the post.
This is also what happens when mods just see a large number of reports in a short period of time and do absolutely no investigating into the post themselves to make sure those reports are legit. I would generally note the mod taking ridiculous actions like this, and then report them to the other mods because they aren’t helping if they’re being lazy about it.
The root problem is Reddit’s policy, not the mods.
Religion ruins everything.
How bg3 treating you? I still need to finish nw2
Fuck religion.
This is the new standard. Every group is throwing out the word “phobic” against anything pertaining to their group, leaving no room for any real discussion. Everyone’s insulated in their own little bubble, popping any bubbles that don’t perfectly mesh with theirs, and then surprised that there’s no understanding between groups. It’s not an islam problem, or an LGBTQ+ problem, it’s a modern social interest group problem.
Not quite. The real answer here is money. Reddit is part owned by Dubai venture capitalists and Reddit is deathly afraid of ANYTHING remotely anti-islam as they risk losing funding so they completely restrict speech around it and remove anyone who doesn’t comply. Fuck Reddit.
Welcome to Reddit. Incidentally those fucksticks banned me for “report abuse”
Why? Because I reported people for harassing me. Like following me to different subs and leaving nasty comments.
That’s what happens when you base your morality on groups instead of the subject at hand.
Unfortunately moderators have to do that to handle the amount of idiots who do the same.

That’s just racism??? Having this horrible hate for a whole class of people due to the region they hale from is sad. It’s like saying “I hate north Koreans” they are just the victims of an awful regime. Hate the gov not the people idk what’s hard to understand. I’m sure whatever country you come from has had a history of some kind of colonialism or other atrocities

It’s also an ethnicity, isn’t that the same as race?

But “Russian” is (also) an ethnicity. You can have Russian nationality, but a different ethnicity.

Troll account or pathetic lack of self awareness 🤔
Its been just about 100 years since the russian serfs revolted and became citizens.
Maybe it is about time again.
are you trying to rationalize your own racism?

That’s xenophobia, not racism.
i mean, race is a made up concept about origin. you are treating a person differently because of their origin, isnt your example kinda textbook definition?
That’s just xenophobic honestly, so, yeah, makes sense.
I’m going to leave these comments up I think but I just wanted to chime in and say expressing hate for any group based on their location of birth, race, ethnicity, age, religion, etc. isn’t okay here and will also get you booted.
You didn’t mention moderator status. Does that mean I’m free to call you a smelly scrotum?
That’s entirely dependent on if you like those people or not, it’s not a steadfast rule that’s ever been applied on any website
Reddit is about as Politically Correct as a KKK/Neo-Nazi meeting in Alabama. The amount of racist garbage that’s spawned from that website is insane, especially when so many who use reddit claim otherwise even though it’s all out there in the open, mods don’t even ban half the racist comments
I mean we’re talking about a user base that actually got upset with people wanting less racism on reddit and threw such a fit that they got a poor girl fired who was in charge
Is it me or “GayBros” sounds waaay too gay
(No offence, just joking)
A bit of both, Gizmophobic?
Gizmo’s cute as long as you don’t feed him after midnight or get him wet!
reddit has been garbage since 2014
