I think I’m most excited to see how hand tracking has improved. I would love to be able to use all my fingers to type on the virtual keyboard.

Interested in seeing how the lenses stack up against the two. The three’s supposed to get pancakes, isn’t it?

Also bravo for getting some VR discussion started here on Lemmy!

I’m definitely excited about the pancake lenses as well. I feel like that’s going to add a lot of immersion if they are as clear as I think they’ll be

I think they are. I wonder how much lighter it’s actually going to feel.

      (You gotta start somewhere.)

Same, I wonder if it’s a price thing? or trying to keep some things just for the “pro” line of devices

Good full color passthrough. I’ve toyed with some AR apps, but I think they will really shine on Quest 3.

I’m most excited for more performance, but I’m also looking forward to the slimmer form factor and color passthrough

I’m excited for comfort improvements. The Quest 2 is largely fine, but I can’t really do longer play sessions like I could with the Rift.

That and clarity improvements. The Quest 2 already doesn’t really have much of a SDE, but larger sweet spots is always appreciated.

Depending on how reviews go, I’ll probably pick one up and pass the Quest 2 onto a friend.
