for those wondering, i read the article: yes, it makes sense for the body to be there and he wasn’t murdered. he was exploring the area when he fell into a glacier.
There was a hint of a possible motive though: "He was travelling with his brother, Kathiruddin, on horseback on the day he went missing. Police said a family feud had forced the two men to leave their home. " But yeah, seems like a pretty plausible accident.
That’s a pretty cool way to die. Ice cold in fact.
He actually survived and was found by 2 high school kids to try to make them popular. Buuudy.
I get the reference!
So the glacier is not thousands of years old and the man did not time travel?
For those wondering…
The body of a man missing for 28 years
At the cafes and hostels around any tourist heavy glacier, you’ll see fresh posters of missing people.
I was definitely wondering how tf he got into one.
Score one for climate change.
So we’ve got:
- A final sense of closure for grieving families.
And,
2… More access to beachfront properties.
Rising oceans and more frequent, stronger storms kind of negate #2.
All beachfront property is transient.
It’ll produce a lot more bodies too if it keeps up.
I’m not the only one who am reminded of that south park episode, right?
The South Park episode based on Encino Man.
Which in turn was based on a ton of other movies and stories based on this theme.
