Apple must stop selling its iPhone 12 model in France due to above-threshold radiation levels, France's junior minister for the digital economy told newspaper Le Parisien in an interview published on Tuesday.
Fyi, when they say “radiation” they’re taking about electromagnetic radiation. This is a huge category that includes microwaves, radiowaves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet light, and x-rays. Not all forms of electromagnetic radiation are dangerous, it’s really only ultraviolet and more energetic bands that are dangerous. This is because anything less energetic than ultraviolet (this includes visible and infrared light, as well as radio/microwaves) doesn’t have enough energy to actually damage physical matter. Yes, that’s right, you won’t get skin cancer from sticking your head in a microwave, you’ll just cook it.
And yes, your wifi is an invisible flashlight. We are bathed in invisible light every moment of our lives, from our phones, our computers, from radio, TV, and cellphone towers. Sometimes, when we’re feeling lazy or crunched for time, we heat our food using light. Our bodies give off light, and we have stripes that can only be seen in UV. How insane is that?
Yeah! They’re called Blaschko’s lines, and they’re only visible if you have a mosaic skin condition or are a chimera. Supposedly animals and cameras sensitive to UV light can see them as well (you probably won’t be able to see them under a blacklight though); however, they’re more visible on some people than others.

We’ve got stripes!?!?
