For all the drugposting I’ve been doing, I’m actually somewhat sober at this point in my life. Haven’t drank in a few weeks and haven’t touched any hard drugs in months. Just weed and cigs right now
What changed?
A lot. Got narcanned twice, hitting the fent patch is only #3 for worst things that have happened to me because of irresponsible and stupid euphoriant use. Euphoriants make you chase the dragon. They’re quick rushes that you don’t really remember except for the select few times it’s actually as good as it’s supposed to be. Hard drugs don’t “ruin” people, but in most addict’s minds there are two people. Themselves, and the stereotypes of their drugs. The longer the stereotype is in your brain, the more you become like it. I just didn’t want to be that person.
Like I’m still very cool with drugs, I grow San Pedros and absolutely adore DXM (one of my only favorites that’s easy to find), any good psychedelic or dissociative, and I’d still take certain euphoriants every once and a while. But overall, I don’t like having that person in my head. My addictions have mostly been cheap, most of them have been $40 a month or less. I’m able to make better decisions when I’m not taking euphoriants. Finances are hard right now, but they’re way easier when I’m not making high purchases like fast food or more drugs I can’t afford. I’m cool with doing my occasional dive into taking every psychedelic I have on the shelf, but I’m done with it being so often.
Plus, nowadays, anytime I get high I immediately get thrown into an unexpected situation where being high is terrible 🤷♀️
I’m a DXM girl that got it prescribed by her psychiatrist after mentioning that it’s the only thing that helps BPD breakthrough moments. I was scheduled for a ketamine clinic, but it would have made me miss roller derby, which has been better than any drug.
I’m actually really considering asking for the DXM/bupropion next time I go in. Somehow dextro and cigs hav treated me better than literally anything else, and I’m kinda tired of being addicted to cigs. Wellbutrin is based off nicotine so it makes me very curious how it works.
Yeah still love taking way too much cough syrup though. I tried fent and all the hard drugs first, I was honestly pissed when I found out just how much I loved dextro after fuckin with far worse.
I went from taking all 20 gel caps to between 5-7 depending on how hard of a moment I’m having. My doctor mentioned the precombined buproprion and DXM, but was cost prohibitive. So then we reached out to a compounder which was still too much.
There’s a local cheese shop here, but no trans women to go with. What gives?
