2016 Formula 1 World Champion Nico Rosberg asserts that Aston Martin will have to consider dropping Lance Stroll if he fails to reduce the deficit to his team-mate.

Stroll recovered from missing the entirety of pre-season testing with two broken wrists to come home sixth in Bahrain before following that up with fourth place in Australia.

However, the Canadian’s form has slumped since and he has been unable to match new team-mate Fernando Alonso, who has notched seven podiums to Stroll’s zero.

The margin between the two Aston Martin drivers currently stands out at 123 points, with only the Red Bull pairing separated by more with eight rounds remaining this year.

    • 2013: Alonso 242, Massa 112

    • 2015: Alonso 11, Button 16 * Alonso joined team after season start

    • 2016: Alonso 54, Button 21

    • 2017: Alonso 17, Button 0

    • 2018: Alonso 50, Vandoorne 12

How will Alonso ever stay motivated without a teammate as fast as himself? Lance is so slow he could barely keep up with Sebastian Vettel.

The hell is that supposed to mean. Vettel is not some random driver they pulled off the street. He is one of the best drivers of all time, same as Alonso.

It means that Stroll came much closer to matching the performance of Vettel than his detractors would like to admit, and Alonso has more talent than the entire field right now excepting possibly Verstappen,

How do they write an entire article like that without mentioning that the team is owned by Lance’s billionaire dad?

Whether or not you think Stroll got where he is based on pure nepotism, it’s pretty unlikely his dad would fire him and continue running the team with another pair of drivers.

This is idiotic. Lawrence Stroll keeps buying world champions to try and prop up his boy. Vettel, Alonso, I bet you after that he’ll sign up Hamilton. This whole thing is just a vanity project for Lawrence to give his loin squirt a boost.
