I’ve been watching Taskmaster NZ and Creamerie and realized there’s a whole untapped market of content I (🍁) must be missing.
What about Wellington Paranormal? I haven’t watched it, but it’s a spinoff of the movie What we do in the shadows (which you should watch if you haven’t seen it).
Outrageous fortune. The almighty Johnsons. I haven’t watched nz TV in a very long time.
The production quality of Outrageous fortune was pretty poor in the first season, but it improves I guess after they got popular and got more money.
I remember really liking it back in the day, but not sure if it stands the test of time.
It does (even 5 months in the future)
Good to know!
The Brokenwood Mysteries - “You see MaxHardwood, I’ve got something to show you”
We started watching it a few weeks ago, and really love it.
Have you seen all the older series? I like the way the characters are developed across each series but still keep their style.
Children of the Dog Star
Edit: more recently: Serial Killers.
In case you are wondering, here’s an episode: https://www.nzonscreen.com/title/children-of-the-dog-star-episode-two-power-stop-1984
Looks amazing.
It was amazing, and terrifying when I was a child.
I’ve been reluctant to watch it again incase it doesn’t live up to my memory.
