Mozilla Firefox is bringing rounded bottom corners to its Linux builds. Getting official support means you'll no longer need to use a third-party GNOME
I would think that rounded corners opposed to harsh angular corners are preferable as they feel more smooth. In the case of Gnome and LibAdwaita, the top left and top right corners are rounded off, so why not the lower half as well (also all other widgets are rounded off as well)?
Its all about aesthetics anyway. I kinda like them rounded off when I use tiling (with the extension tiling assistent, and a ~12px margin between each other and the border)
Why are rounded corners desirable? Is there something obvious that I miss?
Less risk of poking a hole in the side of your monitor when you move the window around I suppose.
