Right? I mean it is all dead carcasses, they just apply learned disconnect behavior. Tell them to eat a dog, and they lose their f’cking minds. No difference.

It is undeniable that the current system for producing chicken in supermarkets often involves conditions that cause suffering. The chickens themselves endure hardship, the workers involved in the process face challenging circumstances, and consumers find themselves with limited choices for affordable nourishment. Seek alternatives like supporting local farmers who prioritize ethical practices, or explor other sources of protein. This is not merely a matter of personal preference, but a reflection of our interconnectedness and a step towards lessening harm. 🙏

I’m aware of it’s source, as stated this isn’t a journal of high reputation. As I also started it’s a single study which means nothing, it’s dozens of large scale studies with replication which informs.

          Ah, misunderstood you then.
Are there generally any methodical issues with the study in the end or is it a case of just being wary of the source?

While the source is of some note, it’s more that a single studys findings are just one small part of the puzzle. It’s takes many studies, massive numbers of people and data and lots of time to come to an in-depth conclusion. It’s interesting, but it means nothing for now and so it’s best not to panic over it, go posting it everywhere as if it’s news. It’s the start or possibly end of a line of investigation. I hope that makes sense.

Just gonna get worse in the US since our director of Health and Human Services literally does not believe in germ theory.

An overconsumption of only soy-based products can’t be good either.

The cited source is a pro-vegetarianism site. That doesn’t seem like the most objective of sources to cover this research.

Overconsumption of only anything can’t be good.

Woah you made alot of jumps to get to an anti-vegatarian perspective lol.

Maybe just accept veggies are healthier than meat? It’s not a radical idea and factually proven.

Where are you getting overconsumption and why “soy only”?

Like… Thats not the bulk of vegan food. Are you aware that more options than processed fake meat exist?

Also 300g of chicken would hardly classify as overconsumption would it?

The overconsumption of <insert-item-here> isn’t healthy

Color me surprised. The Dosis makes the poison…
