    I’m not an American, but how could anyone convince themselves this guy was anything but an economically illiterate buffoon?

    If he wanted to bring manufacturing back to the US, the worst thing he could have done is break the relationships where they get cheap resources from us Canadians and materials like rare earths first.

    Now it’s a bigger hurdle than ever to manufacture in the US.

    Now we’re all galvanized against the US, we can all make deals with each other in an “the enemy of my enemy” way, and everyone is divesting of American financial leverage for fear of being extorted over it.

      They are the types to put all the rich on a pedestal of earned success. They just cannot wrap their heads around the idea of a rich idiot, especially an old one. It’s an oxymoron to them.

      It’s because of the non-stop propaganda from right wing news outlets like Fox, breitbart, newsmax, talk radio, etc, where they constantly pretend that things Trump does are somehow good. People get programmed to believe it, then go around repeating the talking points like mindless automata.

      I see them in news clips from your country all the time. It’s crazy. Yea I have way less and stuff is more expensive but isn’t he just the best. The greatest. Oh my work might shut down next week. Damn Canadians. We’ve been supporting them forever. He’ll fix it though. He’s going to make all the things that are wrong, right again. They’re like zombies.
