As is the same as Reddit, there is no short-hand for linking to posts. Also, linking to a post typically means forcing everyone clicking on the link to possibly have to view said post from an instance other than their home server.
e.g. My home instance is lemmy.world. So someone else on another instance would likely prefer to see the federated post from their home instance. There is an open-source service out there that can make things easier, with minimal burden to you (the link poster). Enter lemmyverse.link. This allows users to set their preferred server for viewing posts where they want.
Unlink Reddit, to tag a community or user using Lemmy, you will use one of two formats:
