The new Monasterium Imperi album breaks off to a slightly different, more innovative path than the work so far. Inspired by “Warhammer 40.000: Mechanicum” soundtrack among others, the heavy hitting industrially textured drums and bassy core are pounding through the monumental choirs, reimbursed with baroque-like church organs. The mechanical, but at the same time, epically sombre atmosphere brings a renaissance to the original grimdark soundscape of Monasterium Imperi.
