Correct. Majel Barrett, then controversial girlfriend and eventual wife of Gene Roddenberry, would go on to voice the computer on TNG and other Trek properties.
She was controversial?
She was the other half of a tryst with Roddenberry that resulted in divorce to his previous wife.
