        I think this shows how far US car makers are now behind in this specific industry.

        BYD just announced 1MW charging, while US car makers struggle to even get some EVs on the road.

          yeah I read about that yesterday, blew my mind. 5 minute charge gets you 200+ miles. a final fuck-you to the ice crowd.

          one thought: current *PUBLIC charging stations are ridiculously eye wateringly expensive, and the faster charging ones even more. I can’t imagine what a 1mw charge platform costs. better post guards so the cables don’t walk off, or the chargers get vandalized.

          Tho not being tesla, that’s a whole lot simpler I suppose…
