      Nicole isn’t real, but let’s assume she is.

      At age 29 and living in Canada where college is comparatively cheap, she can get a job or take out student loans. I have a couple of Canadian friends, and they’ve described the school situation like this:

      1. If you’re an international student, it’s as bad as over here in the US.
      2. If you’re going to a prestigious university, it’s still less than $10k CAD / year.
      3. If you’re not going to a run of the mill college, $20k CAD should more than cover a bachelor’s degree.
