Summary

Trump’s trade wars and tariffs are hitting his own voters the hardest, with retaliatory levies from China, Canada, and Europe targeting industries in Trump-supporting states.

A New York Times analysis found that nearly 8 million Americans, mostly Trump voters, work in affected sectors like farming, steel, and manufacturing.

While some remain loyal, others are voicing frustration over job losses and economic strain. States like Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Indiana are particularly vulnerable.

Cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security could further impact Trump’s base.

If corporations can’t survive a period of incarceration, like zero operations or sales, they are not people. Stupid that Citizens United was passed.

Stupid that Citizens United was passed.

It was evil and anti-democracy. It’s not clear how stupid it was. We didn’t immediately tar and feather the corrupt justices, so at least in the near term, they got away with it.
