Officials are now reviewing the Tesla sales data to determine if any irregularities occurred during the program’s final days.

8,600 Teslas 4 Locations in 3 days (one reported 1,200 sales in one day) $43 mil in rebates ($4 mil in one day)

Let’s be generous and say the cheapest Tesla is $40k before any rebates. That’s $344 mil in sales, with an average of 2,150 Teslas per day.

I’m pretty sure it’s obvious there are irregularities.

Is this loser buying his own cars to try to fraud the government now? “We sold 68 tesla each hours in this location were there’s literately people protesting in front of the dealership.” Of course you did lol. What a pathetic clown.

Buying a shit ton of your own cars to then claim the government rebate for EVs, but still having those cars available for sale is fraud.

true as that may be, not filing the appropriate paperwork for 6800 cars is likely going to be a problem.

example: Capone was taken down for tax evasion.

8600 from 4 dealerships in 3 days, or 12 dealership-days. So, about 700 per dealership per day on average. The 1200 in one day is likely the max, which is typical for these kind of statements.

None of you is asking the real questions: has he done something similar somewhere else?

Don’t you find it suspicious that sales have fallen massively everywhere but risen in the UK? How do we start an investigation there?

Later in the story it mentions registrations. I wonder if they just registered a heap of them shortly after the government said they were likely going to pause the rebates but before they did. I wonder if all that is now effectively stock they can sell but with the rebate?
    Should be investigated either way.
