March 5 (Reuters) - Jack Daniel’s maker Brown-Forman’s CEO Lawson Whiting said on Wednesday Canadian provinces taking American liquor off store shelves was “worse than a tariff” and a “disproportionate response” to levies imposed by the Trump administration.

Several Canadian provinces have taken U.S. liquor off store shelves as part of retaliatory measures against President Donald Trump’s tariffs.

Canadians are steering away from U.S. goods, sports events and trips following the recent imposition of tariffs, which have left them stirred, despite the deep ties between the two countries.

    We don’t have that luxury.

Have you seen how big and white Canada is? There’s not going to be an invasion or even drone strikes.

So maybe don’t tell us we’re weird about our own nationalism/patriotism when said evil pillaging empire threatens to pillage us?

Canada has been helping us the whole time, I’m going to be even more flippant when Britain and the EU’s economies are next to be sacrificed to maintain the rate of profit.

Assuming you don’t work for Bombardier, neither of us has benefited from the spoils of empire.

as someone from a country who’s had its stride with far-right cronies, i believe we should take their words at face value, lest we end up having some big trouble to deal with. so yes, canadians, mexicans, chinese, panamanians, greenlanders should follow their palestinians’ counterparts and start making at least some molotovs just in case. if you 'muricans don’t want to end up in a mess, you should topple the annoying orange and the space karen now, not wait 4 years to do so. you’ve already made things dangerous enough for us all by not putting him in jail when you had the chance.
