I get why people bought Teslas when there was no alternative. but nowadays they are so bad in so many ways, it makes no sense. they cut corners everywhere and don’t even pass the savings on to consumers.

also recently heard that Tesla owners are the most indebted owners. so kind of speaks to the fact that it’s a completely irrational purchase.
Tesla’s “build my car” in some regions at least assumes you want to see the price after theoretical fuel savings. Which, of course, is a savings dramatically in their favour. Might be a factor in the indebtedness.
