It doesn’t even matter if he’s officially a Russian asset or not. It matters that he’s doing everything a Russian asset would do. He’s not an ally. Stop treating him like one.
Actions speak louder than words, and Trump torpedoing the Ukraine minerals deal and fucking up NAFTA and abandoning soft power with dismantling USAID tells a person all they need to know. Regardless of the actual modulus he’s furthering Russian goals.
At this point “consider” and “possibility” seem awfully generous.
If he really isn’t one, he does make sure to imitate one as close as possible.
