You know what? I agree. I guess what I meant to say was that the US stopped being too open about our evil doings. Usually we mask things…the war on drugs, the civil rights movement acceptance. The Vietnam war was much more out in the open. Shock and awe and fucking 20 years of combat in civilian cities and encampments. The USA hasn’t really every been real nice.
