My own family are the type of people to say that. Their church is full of people that say that. I know many people that say trans people should be mass executed. And there are a litany of examples online showing just that. Violence against trans people has exploded since trump took office. It’s real and it’s already resulted in deaths.

You’ve clearly, maliciously, intentionally misrepresented the link between child sex crimes and accusations against trans people. Unless you live under a rock, there’s no doubt you’ve personally encountered this rhetoric online, through mainstream media, or in person. I’m not saying something that isn’t well understood by plenty of people. Your own chosen party is responsible for this connection existing.

You’re willfully ignorant of the politicians and party you support. You’re lying to yourself to the detriment of others and if you give even half of a shit about trans people or other marginalized groups you would stop voting for them.
