It seems like you’re making an argument to only block things that are really important because Trump will only give us a limited amount of takesiesbacksies, which would be a hell of a statement about something meets the technical definition of a genocide against Trans people.
What I’m saying is that Americans who still have faith in the system need to wake the fuck up. The US is a failed state. trump is going to keep doing whatever he wants, he’s going to ignore the courts, and the checks and balances that are supposed to stop him are all controlled by republicans who aren’t going to do a fucking thing.
In order to show people he’s going to ignore the courts it helps to have things the courts have told him not to do, no? If that also comes with a modicum of protection for trans people that seems like a win, at least in the minor ways we can expect during a fascist regime.
