    Democrats did do more in 2017. They got a god damn Russia investigation for chrissakes. Dems are doing nothing right now. As much as they are in the minority, all the resistance noise made a huge difference in 2017 and 2018.

    On the other hand, I do see a strategy whereby dems just standby and wait for their Republican colleagues in Congress to actually do something. If they attack now, Republicans will just defend Trump. But, if they don’t attack, then it will be up to Republicans themselves to decide when to push back on Trump, and of course then Democrats will be there to support that effort. However, they want to see it start on the Republican side. If Trump were going to be removed from office it would take a lot of Republican support. I don’t have high hopes though.
