Wonder if we will see a resurgence in film photography for protests, etc.
I don’t get why for a protest? They’re usually public events, so if you’re identifiable you’re at risk. Let alone that, as the article states, it’s pretty easy to scrub metadata from digital files.

Can’t you also just set your phone camera to not save any metadata in the first place?
No, well… Depends on the OS. I believe Android forks like Graphene and Calyx OS keep it to the bare minimum. If you have a Android phone, you can use a open source application called Scrambled Exif to remove exif data.
