This is obviously a good thing for ps gamers but I have to wonder why this is happening? The game just received its final content drop, and I don’t if it’s been officially announced, but the next game is gonna be coming soon, probably later this year or early next year and I find it hard to believe that it’s going to be released on ps as well.
Probably same reason Sony keeps releasing their games on PC before they release their sequels on PS5. They’re no longer getting sales on original platform so they’re not losing much and they build up the taste of the franchise because someone might like it enough to buy their hardware. It feels very weird to do in this case though.
I have to wonder why this is happening?
Same reason all the other ports are happening: Microsoft massively overstretched itself with the ABK takeover and Xbox isn’t making enough money. It’s make more money or get axed, in case you somehow completely missed 2024 entirely.
When I said I wonder why, I meant in regards to a game in an active life cycle. The game came out in 2021 and, as I said, recieved its last content drop with a new game on the way
This is a larger trend with how much these games cost and how much the console market has shrunk. I think they just realized that one line crossed the other line while the ABK purchase was in limbo.
We have gran turismo, why would we need or want Forza?
Does gran turismo have open world roaming where you can get achievements for knocking down centuries old cactii?.
FH is more arcade than simulation compared to GT, very different feeling games.
Not as good at motorfest imo
Because it’s a good game?
more options is good
