Vandals have caused $140,000 damage to several bronze statues of prime ministers in Ballarat Botanical Gardens.

The heads from the busts of former Labor leaders Kevin Rudd and Paul Keating were severed and stolen.

The sculptor who created the busts says plaster moulds are available to recreate the statues.

          Yes, there are likely to be many people that are offended by the date being changed. But personally I don’t think we should base the future of our nation on the likes of Peter Dutton and his ilk.
