I know nothing about US politics, but I am absolutely amazed by how much power the president apparently has. So this implies he can manage the day to day business of all federal agencies? What an unbelievable overreach of power.

The thing is, the president isn’t supposed to have so much power. Congress and the Supreme Court are supposed to oversee the president.

However, the Supreme Court and Congress are now packed with the president’s cronies.

The memo told health agency employees to have all documents and communications - including regulations, guidance, notices, social media, websites and press releases - reviewed and approved by a presidential appointee before issuing them.

Ahhh, just like the Soviet “political officer” keeping soldiers in line. What could go wrong?

Trump 2 is out of control. Zero respect for the democracy we had or what actually made the nation great. Just another self aggrandizing despot here to tear it all down.

Sure why not, it’s not like there are any health related issues going on currently that might need to be communicated about. /s
