The Windows Key is saved in the bios and visible in config, though. You should be able to use it on a different computer or to sell it on some questionable markets. I don’t think it’s strictly legal to resell it, but c’mon… who has never bought a 10€ OEM windows key on ebay?
Initially read that as you were talking about the physical windows keyboard key and was quite confused
I never bought any windows…
Tbh, free tech support is a pretty huge bonus
My Thinkpad T14s Gen 4 has a few annoying bugs still on linux…
The WiFi chip will randomly be stuck at make 1kbps download speed after waking up from sleep
And occasionally on waking up sleep as well the screen never comes back on.
I wish I had something more compatible with linux even if I do love this thinkpad
I love my S76 but she is not quiet.
I’m not familiar with the system 76, except for the fact that nearly every part is supposed to be replaceable. How well does it fare if you drop it down a flight of stairs?
