So many people were bootlicking Andy Yen in the Reddit thread. Where the commenters were attacking the poster for suggesting that he should resign from the ceo position for praising Donald Trump and then doubling down on the original statement using the official proton account.

Reddit has always been right wing. I’ve seen the comments on us arabs on terrorist attacks. Fucking disgusting.

Has it, or were there always pockets of all kinds of schools of thought? It seemed that way to me at least until Spez decided money was more important than anything else and a good chunk of the left-leaners decided they’d be better off elsewhere.

      That’s not a pejorative, by the way. I’m a left-leaner. And I, well, left.

I’d say i’m very left wing, too. But reddit always felt off to me, like i wasn’t meant to be there. I see why now, due to them saying this stuff about us when they can.

but the majority are just conservatives/faux-liberals who’d sell you out and your race for their own convenience, anyway.

The racism is definitely there, you can scroll like three posts on trending and there it is again. One of the main reasons I left.

How is reddit right wing? Half of the posts on there bashes Trump, and praise Biden.

I’m left wing, and it feels like most of reddit has become a left wing echo chamber
