Got 4x 2ml carts from 7g of Rosin. I had to use some liquidizer to get it more flowable, it was liquidy at 50c, but it would probably gum back up when coming down.

So if my math is right, I added about 1ml of liquidizer (instructions say 2ml/g but that’s uncarbed as well) so per gram they want you to be 1/3 concentrate, so I’m not expecting it to taste much like the “strawberry” it’s supposed to. So with their instructions I should come out with 21ml or 10 full carts. Shit would be weak, but we will see if it’s even smokable at this consistency.

I’ve made some posts throughout the journey, but any specific Qs feel free and I’ll try to answer them, but I ain’t no expert here.

How did you refine the original hash that made this?

Your earlier post indicates you pressed with a 25u bag. Bottle tech? Pillow? What temp? What was the yield on the press? Did you try dabbing any of the rosin pre decarb?

I made bubble hash with a washing machine.

The bubble hash was air dried and crumbled, which already started the ambering affect.

I pressed it with a dulytek rosin platens with a 20-ton shop press. Yields were unspectacular, was my very first time. I mainly Followed this guide and my last pick did look like his. All in all I had about 10g, but 7g from the last pick and it made that good budder in the one post.

I used jar-tek to decarb, but I don’t know what bottle or pillow would be. This bubble hash and beyond is all new to me.

I didn’t dap it, but I did get a concentrate pen and used that, the flavour is deep and fantastic, and it doesn’t smell like it was all lost during processing either!

Edit, I must have deleted a post? I thought I had one from my pressing, whoops. My apologies.

Hell yeah! I’m happy to hear the flavor stayed true.

Bottle tech is a style of pressing the rosin where you fold in the corners of the bag and then pack it vertically, resulting in a column which you then press into a circular puck. It can increase yields - this is a good guide for how to fold the bag. Some people like to take this even further and use “chottle” tech, where the top and bottom are open - I haven’t tried that as I worry it would get more plant particulate in the product. “Pillow” tech is just packing the bag regularly.

I don’t press hash so I don’t know if bottle tech would be a good idea in that situation. Maybe not if you are wanting to double bag.

What sort of bags did you use to make the bubble hash?

Ah yeah, I’m sure I’ll look at other techniques to dial stuff in, but for right now gonna keep it simple.

I just got some LumoX bags off of amazon, I tried doing a wash myself with a drill, but just KILLED my hands, so invested in bubbledudes washer, night and day difference. Don’t do it by hand.

I got 10g from 32g of bubble hash.

I did keep everything separate, but it winded up just going together in one batch. The other ones were small returns, so wasn’t worth the keeping it separate (this time).
