The word “Gopnik” https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gopnik is not in use in Poland, we have a similar notion of “dresiarz” (one who wear only tracksuit, likes to beat people), but not many Polish people even know the word “Gopnik”. Poland is a strange country, which is not fully Eastern, but also not fully western, even if many politicians want it. There is artist from Spain, as I remember, called Sukahard, while “suka” is popular word in Slavic languages, meaning “removed”, and Spanish artists also frequently borrow the gopnik culture elements.
