Likely Kbin doesn’t have active federation with some of the instances the subscribers are on. I’ve noticed that as the software is new, content from smaller instances often doesn’t appear until it’s subscribed to or followed by a Kbin user to a user or community on that instance. As such, it’s probably not logging subscriptions from those smaller instances when conducting its internal count of subscribers to display via Kbin.
