context: i had like 20 tabs open and all of them sent me the same notification at once

The first is a very hard problem to solve for lemmy. The second would be a bug in your browser.
Lemmy. I like middle clicking.
It is possible using https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Broadcast_Channel_API, but I have no idea how difficult that would be to implement.
