Whereas most tech in the movie is based on a sense of “hard” sci fi to an extent, and they spend so much time with exposition on “why” something happens, neo just grows a 5ghz WiFi card in his head. And if that hardware is in every human’s head already, why is it never used for any purpose? And if it’s not cybernetic, it’s even a bigger leap because his brain tissue was rewritten to be a big antenna
